Out of office. Into everything else.

OUTPOST is a series about working remotely from the edges of the map. Season one: Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan — one laptop, one duffel, and the Karakoram Highway.

The work — Delivery doesn't care where you sit.

I can take the job with me. NettaWorks mornings ship from KowoNest, a coliving nest — satellite fiber, Rakaposhi filling the window.

The place — 700 years of perspective.

Baltit Fort has watched over this valley since the 1300s. Seven centuries of stone have a way of putting one hard year in its place.

The mind — Beautiful things grow out of breakage.

Attabad Lake didn't exist until a mountain fell in 2010 — a daily reminder that what breaks you can become the calmest water you'll ever cross.

The body — Earn the view.

The Passu Cones stand at 6,106 metres; my goals are humbler. Run further, carry more, sleep properly.

The person — Same job. Same me. Bigger world.

OUTPOST is one experiment, repeated: take my real job somewhere far from home — a season per place — keep delivering, and work on the body, the mind, and the things I don’t talk about easily.
